What we record
When you start an interview session, easyloops captures:
- Microphone audio — your spoken words while the session is active.
- Transcript — a text transcription of that audio.
- Workspace contents — anything you write on the whiteboard, in the notes panel, or in the code editor during the session.
- Interaction events — pointer / selection / draw events on the whiteboard, code edit timing, and similar metadata used to reconstruct the session for reviewers.
We do not capture video unless you explicitly turn on a camera in the controls — and even then, video is processed locally for the call surface and not stored by default.
How we use it
Live interview: the AI interviewer uses your audio + transcript + workspace snapshots to respond to you in real time.
Post-session evaluation: after the session ends, an AI model produces a structured evaluation (rubric scores, strengths, gaps) from your transcript and workspace artifacts.
Reviewer access: if you share the session, a reviewer with appropriate role-based access (recruiter, hiring manager, or you yourself) can read the transcript, view the workspace, and replay the evaluation. Reviewer access is audited.
Model providers
Your inputs pass through external AI providers to power the interviewer and the post-session evaluator. The current set:
- Anthropic and OpenAI — large language models for interviewer responses and evaluation.
- Deepgram — speech-to-text.
- OpenAI TTS — text-to-speech.
Their handling is governed by their respective policies. We do not authorize them to train models on your data without a separate, explicit opt-in. We may change providers; the latest set is always shown here.
Storage and retention
Sensitive artifacts (audio, transcript, workspace) are encrypted at rest. Retention is per-artifact: audio is deleted after 30 days by default, transcripts and workspaces after 180 days, evaluations after 365 days. You can request earlier deletion at any time from Settings.
Acceptance of these Terms is stored locally in your browser under the key easyloops.interview.consent.v2. It contains only your candidate identifier, the version you accepted, and the timestamp — no audio or transcript.
Your rights
You may revoke acceptance at any time from Settings, which prevents new sessions from starting. Existing artifacts remain available for reviewer access already granted; to fully delete them, use the deletion-request workflow in Settings (admin-led, GDPR-compliant).
If we materially change these Terms, we bump the version and re-prompt you on next session start. Previous acceptances are kept for audit but treated as not-current for the new terms.
